Ran Neuner isn't holding back on Hunter Biden's new $LAPTOP meme coin.
Asked why he turned down an interview with Hunter Biden's team ahead of the token's launch, Ran points to the optics: a former president's son with well documented financial and drug struggles now fronting a meme coin, right after an administration that was openly hostile to crypto. He draws a sharp line between this and Trump's token launch, arguing the stories couldn't be more different. His verdict: this isn't a comeback story, it's a straightforward celebrity money grab, and he'd rather call it what it is than pretend otherwise.

Ethereum or Solana to top up? Ran says Solana — no hesitation.
Solana is 66% down from its all-time high of $300. ETH is 50% down from $4,500. Solana has the more energetic community. ETH feels like an ETF now. When Solana starts pumping, it'll really pump.
But here's the bigger picture: Ran isn't that excited about L1s in general. The L1 race is already won — Base, Robinhood Chain, Solana. Done.
What excites him is the applications being built on top. We've spent 15 years building infrastructure. This cycle is about the use cases. Revenue-generating apps on top of the L1s — that's where the real money is.

$125K gets Bitcoin back to the previous all-time high. That's not the target. Ran Neuner is looking way above it.
Here's the math: from $16K to the last all-time high was 250%. From that high to the next was 81%. Apply a 50% move from the current all-time high — you get to around $220K.
Could Bitcoin pull back first? Yes. A dip into the mid-to-low $70s after a 30% run wouldn't surprise him. That's just what Bitcoin does. But he's not expecting below $60K again. The conviction is high.
The upside target isn't reclaiming $125K. It's $200K–$220K. Every cycle has gone well beyond the previous high. This one will too.
