- Make yourself a cup of coffee (if you are motived to do so!), sit down in your favorite chair, and listen as we think out loud about what motivation really is, and some principles and tips you can use in your life to become more motivated to practice your Norwegian.
Motivation is about which direction your actions flow in, and with which intensity you do things. Some people are internally motivated, because they find the activity fun and fulfulling in and of itself. Other people are externally motivated, by a result they want to achieve or pressure from other people.
What motives you to learn Norwegian? And most importantly, what are you most proud of about your language learning journey this far? Write it in the comments!

Book 1-on-1 Online Norwegian Lessons with me at tulanorsk.no - Sit down with a cup of tea, and listen as I talk about the thoughts I have dealt with when it comes to making friends as an adult. Maybe it comes easy and naturally for you to speak to new people, or maybe you are like me and are a bit more hesitant, and worry about fitting in and how you come across.
Especially when it comes to living in a new country, you might be struggling with thoughts about how to fit in, how to find people, how to be yourself and at the same time be proud of your culture while living in a new place. These are such normal concerns, and I hope you can be kind to yourself as you adjust.
Have you found friends in Norway yet? Do you think it is difficult to meet people? Write it in the comments!

Oslo is my city, I lived there for close to 5 years, and I will probably go back there at some point. I first studied economics, then switched to french, before I realized psychology was it for me.
Oslo is a great city with lots of things to do, lots of people, and beautiful nature. It is for the most part clean and safe, truly a great place to live. Listen to hear more in depth about what is up in Oslo's capitol city.
What do you think of Oslo? Write it in the comments and practice your Norwegian!
