Did you forget that life is supposed to be for fun?! Are you optimising your life within a poor inch of its life?

Today I’m talking about how I’ve been so focused on work, work, work, optimising, strategising, planning - that I started to take life a little too seriously again. This is for any of you who have remembered and forgotten, over and over again, that life gets to be magical, and that there are small ways you can turn towards the sun in your life when it all feels fucking flat.

Our job in life is to never miss the details, because that is where the beauty is. It’s in small interactions with strangers, in the details of the environment around you, the small synchronicities where it couldn’t possibly be a coincidence…

The things in life that you can only see when you slow down.

Learning how to receive help, ask for it and delegate things in your life is INSANELY FUCKING HARD because so much of our identity as women is tied up in how much of ourselves we can sacrifice. How do we learn to soften when we’re hyper independent? How do we learn that there is truly power in surrender?
