This week we are looking at the ending of Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire to discuss the implications of what the different endings can mean for the world, at large. This episode is largely speculative, but pulls from ideas and known lore to draw these speculations. This episode is also the result of a fan request. This week's episode is all about DRUIDS. Those lovable scamps in the woods that are all about "being one with nature", and also turning into a bear to maul you to death. Druids are very fun to play in Pillars. Sadly we don't see a lot of archetypal druid stuff in Avowed from the player's perspective, but the lore is still there. This topic came from a fan request!

This week, with the kickoff of the 2.0 update for Avowed, I started a brand new save file and found myself some of the unique quaterstaves in the game. Then I got to wondering - "why might there magical staves in Avowed and not in Pillars of Eternity" (from a lore perspective). So I put my thinking hat on, worked through some of the lore and actually came to realize some interesting things about how magical items might work in Eora.
