- So excited to welcome back Charlotte Fisher. She is a trail and mountain runner from the Isle of Wight who, in the last two and a half years, has raced and podiumed at some of the most competitive events in Europe. Most recently, she finished her first UTMB. We dive into her experience of the race, the challenges she faced, the funny moments, and the miles shared with other women that left her finishing on a high. We also talk about the less visible side of going all in on the sport, how trail running is evolving, the passion and joy she has for it, and the importance of believing in your dreams. Please forgive my audio quality that’s not great for the episode, but I promise its worth it! Hope you enjoy this episode!

She's a pro trail runner who most recently finished third at UTMB, one of the most prestigious and competitive mountain ultramarathons in the world. She found her love for the mountains and trail running in Colombia, and now calls Chamonix home. She told us it was surreal to cross that finish line knowing she was on the podium, and we deep dive into the race itself, what went well, and things that made the difference. We also chat about her journey as an athlete, with the Golden Trail Series as a key chapter, and talk about longevity, where the sport is headed, and what really matters when setting goals for yourself.

She's a super talented mountain runner from Scotland, and a Salomon international athlete. She just finished second at UTMB's OCC, the 50k finals of the series, just three seconds behind first place! Naomi walks us through how she built up to this level and her longest race ever, and what it was like racing with such competitive athletes, and friends, in the final kilometres. She also tells us more about growing up with an outdoorsy family and friends, how that shaped her love of sport and the mountains, and how her path to becoming a pro for Salomon has felt like a series of gradual steps toward something she truly loves. Can't wait for you to listen to our chat!
