About Dr. Martin Erdmann

Martin Erdmann earned his doctorate in church history from Brunel University London in 2000 and completed his habilitation in dogmatics at Gáspár Károli University Budapest in 2017. He has directed the Verax Institute since 2003.

His professional background encompasses roles in the IT sector, as well as serving as a Baptist minister, overseeing the New Testament division at STH Basel, and teaching as an associate professor at Patrick Henry College in Virginia, USA. As a senior scientist at University Hospital Basel, he authored a study on the ethical questions of nanotechnology. Since 2024, he has led the Christliche Gemeinde Südschwarzwald.

He researches and publishes books and articles in German and English, gives sermons and lectures, produces videos, and advises Christian leaders and church members.

About Kees van der Pijl

Kees van der Pijl (1947) taught at the University of Amsterdam and was professor at the University of Sussex, UK, from 2000. He made his name with The Making of an Atlantic Ruling Class (1984, reprint 2012) and was awarded the 2008 Deutscher Prize for Nomads, Empires, State, Vol. I of a trilogy on Modes of Foreign Relations and Political Economy (2007-2014). He also wrote novels and edited a number of works, most recently STATES OF EMERGENCY: Keeping the Global Population in Check (2022) and The Militarization of the European Union (2021). His previous monograph, Flight MH17, Ukraine and the New Cold War (2018) has been translated into four other languages.

About Faithless Town

Faithless Town is a Nashville-based rock band known for their unique blend of indie, alt-country, folk, and alternative rock. After successfully crowdfunding their debut album American Refugee (2012), the band gained attention with the single “Ghosts of My Hometown.” Their follow-up, Empires (2020), featured standout tracks like “California Come Home” and “New World Order.” In 2022, Into The Light Vol. 1 received critical acclaim, and the 2023 release of Into The Light Vol. 2 introduced the infectious wedding anthem “Bride,” a lively duet with Leora Joy Perrie.
