- The Devil Has No Authority
In this Story time episode, Olgah shares a story from a hotel stay that changed the way she understood spiritual
warfare, prayer and the authority we have as believers.
From sleep paralysis and calling on the name of Jesus, to declaring who she is and whose
she is, Olgah reflects on what happens when we realise the spiritual realm is real but also
that darkness does not have the final say.
Mimi and Olgah discuss spiritual sensitivity, recognising the enemy's tactics, intercession,
praying over your home and food, and why there is nothing embarrassing about being the
person who prays.
But most importantly, they explore why Christians shouldn't become consumed by darkness.
Our focus isn't the demonic. Our focus is Jesus.
Because darkness cannot overwhelm light. - What does money mean to you?
For some, it's freedom. For others, it's safe. Sometimes it becomes identity, security , even
lordship.
In this episode, Mimi & Olgah unpack their relationship with money and how their different
upbringings shaped the way they trust, spend, save and give, they talk about:
- their poorest and richest moments
- financial mistakes
- taking loans for holidays and gifts
- growing up around hardship
- the moments where God provided when they had nothing.
They also explore Matthew 6, the false security money can offer and the challenge of
choosing to trust God when money feels like the thing that will keep you safe.
What happens when we realise money was never meant to be our security?
Welcome back to Shifted. 🤍 Episode 10 | We’re Not Perfect Christians: Friendship Breakups, Church & What Shifted Exposed
23.09.2026 | 48 min.Season 2 starts with a catch-up , but there's a lot more to catch up on than Mimi and Olgah expected.
During their break, both girls experienced friendship changes, personal struggles and moments that forced them to confront things they hadn't fully dealt with.
They open up about how reactions to Season 1 triggered childhood insecurities, the pressure they felt to appear like “perfect Christians”, and what it's like navigating a friendship and a podcast while being at different stages in their walks with God.
They also ask a bigger question: What if, before God restores something, He first reveals what needs to change?
From humility and biblical knowledge to finding churches rooted in Scripture, Mimi and Olgah return for Season 2 with less pressure to have all the answers and a willingness to let Shifted continue shifting them too.
