Celebrate Life with Pastor Tom Deuschle

Interactive show giving feedback based on questions around the subject Grace.

Make the changes in your life which are necessary to put Jesus first! As you seek Him in prayer and in the Bible and in Fellowship with other believers (the church) –He will reveal Himself to you. You will move from a dead religion or transaction with God into an abiding relationship with His son Jesus Christ.

We demystify some of the erroneous assumptions that believers have made around being saved and what walking in God’s grace looks like.

To fully understand grace, we need to consider who we were without Christ and who we become with Christ. We were born in sin, and we were guilty of breaking God’s holy laws. But then came grace. God extended His favour to us. Grace is what saves us.

Grace is a constant theme in the Bible, and it culminates in the New Testament with the coming of Jesus. The word translated "grace" in the New Testament comes from the Greek word “charis”, which means “favour, blessing, or kindness.” We can all extend grace to others; but when the word grace is used in connection with God, it takes on a more powerful meaning.
