Loïc opens up about the evolution of his career, the fierce but respectful rivalry with Jackson Goldstone, and what it’s like watching a new wave of young riders come charging for the top step. Loic also teaches Rob a lesson about who the true GOAT of downhill MTB is.

 

They also tackle one of the most talked-about moments of the season, the Mont-Sainte-Anne start-gate controversy with Loïc's very contentious DNS, he explains exactly what happened, what he was thinking, and how he feels about it now.

 

And beyond the racing, Loïc reflects on life changes, including the joy and challenge of becoming a new father, balancing elite competition with family, and what motivates him heading into the next chapter of his career.

Set in a course inspired by the rollercoaster energy of Orlando, the event challenged teams to dream up wild, themed, non-motorized tandem crafts and send them flying (and often sinking...) through a twisting obstacle track!
