- “Then Hannah prayed: ‘My heart rejoices in the LORD!’” 1 Samuel 2:1 NLT
Seen & Strengthened closes with the woman who rejoices. Over the last three weeks, Pastor Carolyn taught that God sees you and strengthens you, and that he equips you to build what he has entrusted to you. Part 4 is a woman who knows who she is in Christ and doesn’t have to wait for everything around her to be perfect before she rejoices.
Pastor Carolyn confronts the “I’ll be happy when” thinking that keeps pushing joy off to some later date. Paul told believers to always be full of joy, and he wrote it from a prison. Habakkuk looked at failed crops and empty barns and said, “Yet I will rejoice in the Lord.”
She draws a clear line between happiness, which moves with your circumstances, and Biblical joy, which is rooted in your relationship with God. She also separates preparation from worry, because a woman of faith can prepare for tomorrow without being afraid of tomorrow. The teaching closes on remembering what God has already done and on the harvest that comes to the woman who stays faithful.
The joy of the Lord is your strength in the middle of the battle, and it’s yours today.

In Part 3 of Seen & Strengthened, Pastor Carolyn picks up where Hagar and Hannah left off. God sees you and God strengthens you, and that strength has an assignment. God strengthens you so that you can build your home, your marriage, your children, your friendships, your ministry, and the people around you.
Pastor Carolyn walks through 6 keys from Proverbs 14, Proverbs 24, and Proverbs 31. A strong home never happens by accident. Your own words and reactions can tear down the very thing you are praying for God to build.
Comparison pulls you off your own construction site. Strong lives get built brick by brick, long after the emotional moment has passed. She closes with legacy, which is what you are putting into people while you are alive.
The Proverbs 31 woman was faithful with what was in her hands. You have something in yours. Start there.

She walked out that same day, eating again and no longer sad, and nothing in her circumstances had changed yet.
In Part 2 of Seen & Strengthened: Becoming a Woman Established in God, Pastor Carolyn Shuttlesworth teaches from 1 Samuel 1 and 2 and Proverbs 31 on where a strong woman's strength comes from.
She walks through what Hannah did with her pain and why prayer can change you before your situation changes. She also opens up Proverbs 31:25, the woman clothed with strength and dignity who laughs without fear of the future, and draws a clear line between wisdom that prepares and worry that obsesses.

In Part 1 of "Seen & Strengthened: Becoming a Woman Established in God", Pastor Carolyn Shuttlesworth opens Genesis 16 and teaches why knowing how God sees you has to come before knowing what He has called you to do. She walks through the difference between fruitfulness and performance, reads Proverbs 31 as the portrait of a woman whose works flowed from her relationship with God, and shares a verse in Mark 6 that shows what a hard heart costs you.
This teaching will help you stay faithful when nobody is clapping.

26.08.2026 | 55 min.Pastor Carolyn wraps up her Rooted, Resilient, and Victorious series with a truth that reframes anything you may be walking through in life: God did not plant you merely to survive. He planted you to produce!
Working from Psalm 92 and the picture of a flourishing palm tree, Pastor Carolyn breaks down what it actually looks like to bear fruit in every season, not just the easy ones. She unpacks why harvest always starts with a seed, why you cannot control the timing of what you've planted (only the watering), and why so many believers dig up in doubt what they planted in faith.
You'll hear the difference between a moment of doubt and a full walk into unbelief, why delay never means denial, and how some of what you sow becomes a harvest for someone else entirely, your children, your grandchildren, the people watching your life.
This episode closes out the series with a final declaration meant to plant itself in you: you did not just survive. You remained fruitful. Your harvest is sure!
